Hey CALVARY YOUTH. I’m nicole wong here. (: GOD have been really good to me. His presence in my life is STRONG. And recently, since im taking PMR this year and still under my parents so i wont be able to attend youth often. And is hard for me to not able to go youth. haha. BUT..there’s a plan for me from GOD. Since mission impact is launced, i’ve decided to start it in home by being a TESTIMONY which i’ve never seem to have be one. Been praying about it. And I really want to thank god that im able to have spend time with my family and really be a testimony at home. Is hard but GOD never leave me all by my own. (: On the other hand,i’ve been having a great passion to have share christ in school.. though im new to KDU since im here onlt this year. but i knew god got a reason for me to come here and i make sure i make it happen. really praying hard for it. Though is hard but GOD IS FAITHFUL..and one day KDU will sure be able to save by GOD’S GRACE. I have been worrying about not able to make this possible. PAUSE!! *with god , everything is possible.* and if god will soon reveal his plan. Recently, life is hard for me. and i was also holding a hand full of passion but GOD told me that i need rest. RELY ON ME,nicole. AMEN!

Before im off. Calvary youth is time to get off your comfort zone. We must never be satisfy of our relationship with GOD. Must do SOMETHING about it. Is time to let our generation to know who GOD is and JESUS (: Keep praying and supporting each other. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Yo! Haha.. well.. errm, I’ve been blessed these past couple of days *grins* On Thursday.. I had breakfast with one of my colleagues, and when we were done she said that it was on her.. I was like, oh, really ar.. But she insisted.. so, yeah.. then I met up with one of my college friends for lunch, and he insisted on paying as well.. And later on after work I met up with one of the youth leaders, and the same thing happened, she insisted on paying, lol!! That was Crystal btw *grins* So, that day, I was like, wow.. the first buck i’d to spend that day was the parking ticket at 1Utama..

And today, Sunday.. Jan decided to do an act of random kindness and got me a box of KFC nuggets for free πŸ˜‰ haha.. I told him i’d post my testimony up.. I was rushing around like crazy today due to circumstances, and so didn’t have time to grab stuff to eat..

I’m awfully thankful for my friends and leaders here at CY πŸ™‚ they’ve been great.. thoughtful and kind.. and u know, I’m just blessed to be working with them πŸ™‚

So yeah.. keep up the good work y’all! πŸ™‚

    Here’s a testimony from NZ πŸ™‚
    (WARNING: LONG TESTIMONY AHEAD)

I really wanted to do mission impact over here in NZ as well, but didn’t quite know how to cuz i still don’t really know anyone. in short, i don’t really have friends yet…haha..

ANYWAYS, i was thinking to myself that maybe my ARK would be to bake a cake and share it with my house mates (4 of them). But things took a slightly different turn, because one day, someone gave Michelle and Raymond (my sister and brother-in-law) a whole carrot cake, which they didn’t want because they don’t like carrot cake. They told me to bring it back and share it with my housemates…

i was quite hesitant in the beginning…mainly because I hardly know them, and i don’t want them to think that “oh, don’t want the cake only give us” (cuz i cut a slice out to eat already, so the cake didn’t look all that nice).

But I decided to give only la, if all of them don;t want, then i’ll have to throw it away or something.
I knocked on their doors and asked them to have some cake and surprisingly ALL of them said yes! πŸ˜€ it was quite cool, because everyone had not met everyone yet in the house and BECAUSE OF THE CAKE (or the ARK), for the 1st time we met and had a great chat over cake!

So this little random ack of kindness actually led to something really good! all of them were very blessed by the cake, and we ended up talking about food which resulted to everyone of us taking turns to cook our ‘national dish’ each weekend! πŸ˜€

So this basically is an encouragement to all of you to just step out of your comfort zone and DO IT! πŸ˜€

    much love from baa-land,
    mabel πŸ™‚

recently, some teacher has taken over checking the class rooms’ cleanness @.@
and she punishes classes EVERYDAY for a dirtyroom from the day before~!
that’s not very nice of her : S

it was tuesday when we got our warning from that teacher to throw the garbage out, or else we’ll have a fine of 50 cents.
50cents is a BIG DEAL for the class fund.
the next day. as usual. no one cleans the class room.
just then the monitor remembered about the garbage can * gulp*
thanks to the survival kit, I took out the black plastic bag for them to use.
and we saved 50 cents that day πŸ˜€
even it’s a little 50 cents, it’s still a act of random kindness:)

Well well, I guess I could say I’ve been doing small, random ARKs here and there but one was a little bit different than the rest.. Here it goes!

I was walking in the Curve one day and I happen to walk past a thumbdrive that was on the floor. So, I happily picked it up and passed it to the Concierge and…

    That’s it! Mission accomplished!

Well, I did say its a small random ARK, did I? πŸ™‚

so i decided to get her a cd and 2 books and just leave it on her table (lol, i dun write name wan..let her crack her head and think)..
eventhough it’s not a christian book or cd, just malay cd and book i am happy enough to bless her although those doesnt suit me..

some was curious why did i bought it but i just say that it’s for someone..coz i just felt that i should bless her (my tcher),, i am blessed to be a blessing..

I wanna thank God for the opportunity to bless those who aren’t as fortunate as we are.

I stay in a condo, and there is a Car-Wash service that runs from 11 pm-3 am every night. There are two cyclists who will carry buckets of water and wash cars till the wee hours in the morning.

I’ve always observed them, and one night, last year, when I came back around 12, I saw one of them lying down next to the stairs from a distance, sleeping.

God impressed this on my heart: “Can you imagine living such a life, lying down now on this bare ground without the comfort of your room, just to get some sleep before you have to work to earn just a few hundred bucks to survive.”

So, it was my first time ever to do an ARK, even before the programme was launched. I slowly walked to the 24-hr mart, and I bought a Snickers Bar. I slowly walked back to where I saw him and all sorts of thoughts went through my mind, but I said, “JUST DO IT!”. It was such a joy to see a smile on his face, even after I just woke him, and he wanted to pay me for it! But it was so weird yet interesting to him, and he was happy. I felt even more awesome, I believe to be empowered by Christ.

During Christmas/New Years(I can’t remember), I bought them chocolates as well as my ARK.

Why am I writing this now? Because even up to now, as I’m working late nights and I come back at 1 am, they still greet me with a smile and are so excited to say Hi. The blessings of God may not come in by the cash spent, but it’s much more than that. The fulfillment that I feel now, just to see how God has empowered me to impact their lives is just simply amazing. I tell you, it’s really Joy Unspeakable. It’s something I’d like to share.

Don’t think, friends, just do it!

hello hello! πŸ™‚ i’ve been doing minor ARKs around. some two weeks back, i bought a drink and gave it to the toll lady πŸ™‚

and just yesterday at the mall, i went to buy a bun for my colleague but instead, i decided to bless the floor cleaner! i literally followed her to the cleaners’ room and gave it to her then. she was hesitant at first and kept questioning my gesture. i kept repeating that i wanted to bless her and the bun was for her. and thankfully, she finally accepted it and smiled πŸ™‚ oh and yeah, she couldn’t stop saying thank you, haha. well the good thing is that now every time when we walk past each other, we exchange smiles. πŸ™‚

well, i for one, am really enjoying ARK-ing people. the end result of seeing a smile on one’s face really does warm the heart. πŸ™‚ so yes, keep it up if you’re still at it! and if you’ve not done anything, do start! ‘cos you won’t regret it, really. πŸ™‚

Some just ignored me 😦 some just smiled back. But out of all, whenever i walk past the janitors, they surely look at me and smile at me. It surely make my day whenever i see poeple smile. Yesterday, friday., my school held a Merdeka Carnival. There’s so MANY food πŸ˜€ yummm.. Then i decided to ARK and bless someone-THE JANITOR. I told one of my friend that i want to go down to buy food for the janitor as we were lining up for the haunted house, she was shocked! :O She decided to follow me to bless the janitor too πŸ˜€ She told our friends that we going down.. Our friends were really shock about my move and they start mur-muring as i was walking away.. We bought nasi lemak and went around looking for the janitor. BUT i found the janitor makan-ning 😦 So my friend decided to bless a teacher. she left the nasi lemak to the teacher. And i insist that i want to bless another janitor. So then i went aroud looking for her again, and YES i found her. She was so pleased and blessed. “Thank you ar, ah moi.” haha.. then i bless my assistant homeroon teacher a mee-hon and my homeroom teacher a bottle water.. Really want to thank god for the opportunity. BLESSED 3 people at a time. Praise god! πŸ™‚

    Hi!!!

I did one of this week’s ARK TODAY!!! hahaha… cuz i can’t really do it on any of the other days…

The ARK was to blessed a (malay) guard with food in the EVENING..

most of my classes end pretty early and the guards at my house dun seem to be fasting, or prolly they are… NEWAYS, i decided to bless the guard in UM.. haha… my uni…

and i NEARLY chicken-ed out but i MADE myself u-turn at a traffic light and bought food. said a quick prayer cuz i was really scared that the guard won’t accept it…

walked up to the guard house and called him..

and he was like, “oh ah moi, nak belanja ah?” with a smile

and i said ya.. hahaha… at that point, i was GLAD i turned back and did it…

All Praise and Glodry to GOD.. πŸ˜€

hiii πŸ™‚ kimmie t here πŸ˜€ okay, this was an ARK i did quite far back, but anyway, i saw the rubbish bin in the girl’s toilet in my church (TMC PJ) was full and coincidentally i had my MI kit with me, so i refilled the rubbish bin with the black rubbish bag πŸ˜€ but when i went back to church later on in the day for a practice, the cleaner put ANOTHER pizza bag in the place of mine. Well, not completely a waste, still the thought that counts! πŸ™‚

ive also been blessed with people doing ARKs to me randomly, maybe without them being conscious that they’re doing an ARK, but its a good feeling when an ARK is done to me, therefore doing an ARK is something id try to make an effort to do, to share the nice feeling of someone being kind to you πŸ™‚

there was this one time that i tried to do an ARK in church, which kinda tak-jadied too. haha πŸ™‚ i was walking into church on the road and there was this senior lady who was walking in with her walking stick. so i offered to help her like twice, but she kinda didn’t get me, so then she kinda smiled and greeted me and i just smiled.

Still gonna try to do more ARKs anyway πŸ™‚

okay, ive thought of a suggestion for an ARK that loads of us can do πŸ˜€

we cann…help the waitress stack the plates and all after eating, we can wipe up the table with a tissue if we spilt something and more πŸ˜€

More recent ARKs inclue when I offered to follow my mum out to go buy something, and also when i just give random tips to the cashier at the Book Corner. It felt good, i do have to say πŸ™‚

For me, i find it really encouraging to know that there are SO many calvary youths doing ARKs too! πŸ™‚

sooo, eventhough i have NO IDEA if this ARK thingi is still going on, and eventhough my testimony is SOO outdated :P, happy ARKing, and continue to bless more people! πŸ™‚

I’ve been praying hard for my school’s CF, yes is still illegal till now,, BUT no way is stopping me from spreading the love of god.
One afternoon, back from school.. while waiting for my shower heat to boil i decided to take this time to pray. As i pray, my mind was full of my CF-ians, praying for all of them individually. And a thought-i believe is from the LORD- came crossing into my mind and i felt as though GOD wants all of them to do something. This particular activity was to get them to find a verse and write it down on a piece of paper and give it to someone OUT of CF. I believe God is moving. Now, we have to see how many people will do as i say πŸ™‚ Will keep praying.
THANK GOD FOR SPEAKING TO ME. Amen! πŸ™‚
